Penjelasan Mengenai Kes Thermomix TM31 Yang Meletup

Kategori: ,,,

SAFETY QUESTIONS/SOALAN KESELAMATAN

1. I heard there are safety issues with Thermomix. Is the product safe?

Thermomix® has over 7million users and is widely used worldwide by millions of customers and top tier Michelin restaurant chefs daily. Thermomix® is 100% safe when used in accordance to its instruction manual.

Thermomix® TM5 has been designed with many built-in safety features including:
• An electronic motor protection which prevents the motor from overloading, and includes an automatic cut out.
• The mixing bowl lid is secured by an automatic lid locking mechanism. The appliance will not function if the lid is not properly locked.
• The Thermomix® spatula’s safety shield prevents it from making contact with the blades when the spatula is inserted through the hole in the mixing bowl lid.
• A beeping tone will sound at the end of the set cooking time to alert you that cooking is done. If a timed function has included heating, at the end of cooking, the speed will drop to a slow stir speed for eight seconds unless stopped earlier.
• Warnings are visible on the colour touch-screen display.
• Selecting the transportation mode locks the mixing bowl into place, allowing for safe transport when travelling.
• A four-digit safety code can be set up, to prevent children or unauthorised users from turning the Thermomix ® on.

2. I heard that there are many burn cases in Australia and Thermomix® Australia does not take responsibility for these. Please explain

We are unable to comment on behalf of Thermomix® Australia. We understand those were related to product mis-use as well as the use of third party accessories. Not using official Thermomix accessories may compromise cooking safety.

3. Why are there so many burnt mixing bowl photos on the internet.

Like any kitchen cooking utensil, burns will be inevitable if the Thermomix® is used to cook without sufficient liquid (i.e. dry heating). If unsure, please cook at a lower temperature first (eg. 98deg) and only use higher temperature (ie.
Varoma) to reduce the sauce at the end of cooking for a few minutes each time until the desired consistency.

Please ensure that you are using recipes from original Thermomix® Certified cookbooks. If unclear, please seek support
from your Thermomix® Advisor. The Varoma temperature setting is used for steam cooking and reducing water
based liquids. Please refer to the instruction manual, page 22 to 26 and page 33 for more information on how to use the Varoma and Varoma temperature
setting.

4. Why does everything I cooked get repeatedly burnt?

Like any kitchen cookware, burns will be inevitable if the Thermomix® is used to cook without sufficient liquid (i.e. extended dry heating). The Thermomix® Mixing Bowl is made of high quality stainless steel. However, like many top end kitchenware, a severe burn or repeated burns on stainless steel can result in hot spots which burns on the same spots whenever overheated.

If you are concerned burns may have weakened your Mixing Bowl, please make a service appointment at 6634-2016 to have your Mixing Bowl checked by our Technician. If you are unsure about cooking temperature and time, cook at a lower temperature first (eg. 98deg) and only use higher temperature (ie. Varoma) to reduce the sauce at the end of cooking for a few minutes each time until the desired consistency.
